I didn't realise how difficult it would be to draw in someone else's book. I spend all day working with students, giving them ideas to develop their work but when it came down to creating this page I struggled. It was not until I saw Midori's addition to my first drawing that I saw lost opportunities from Angela's bold original.
I completely agree Jackie, it was a surprisingly big challenge for me as well. There's much more pressure once there is already someone else's imagery, huh? Anyway, I think you handled it beautifully, and your end result doesn't look like you struggled at all. I like how you continued the green ground area across into your panel. I have a thing for birds, so am thrilled to have your addition to "my" book. ;)
